Qualifications:-
- Bachelor’s degree in:

- Business Administration (with data/privacy focus)
- Preferred Certifications: CIPP/E, CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CIA.
Skills & Experience:-
- Strong experience in data management and privacy within a large organisation.
- Exposure to one or more business areas (e.g., Retail Banking, Corporate & Institutional Banking, Wealth Management, Legal, HR, Operations, Risk) preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to escalate issues proactively and professionally.
- Strong track record of achievement, collaboration, and delivery under tight deadlines.
- Effective stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Operations & Risk Management
- Conduct privacy impact and risk assessments, surveys, and data analysis for applications, products, processes, documentation, and third parties.
- Verify that third-party vendors handling personal data have up-to-date risk assessments and contractual compliance with privacy and data protection terms.
- Support businesses/functions in completing Data & Privacy forms and questionnaires.
- Draft or update operational procedures and documentation in line with evolving regulations and policies.
Strategy & Process Improvements
- Drive change and adoption by creating communication materials, training content, and delivering awareness sessions.
- Analyse business and functional processes to identify automation opportunities in data management and privacy.
- Recommend process improvements to address control gaps and enhance operational efficiency.
- Define metrics, dashboards, and data visualisations to improve management visibility and decision-making.
Governance & Assurance
- Liaise with Risk Assurance and Audit teams to support internal reviews and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor, control, and mitigate data and privacy risks while supporting threat and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with privacy processes, support incident resolution, and provide accurate and timely reporting on KRIs, metrics, and incidents.
- Actively contribute to workshops and forums, providing input on privacy requirements for new initiatives.
People & Training
- Raise awareness of data and privacy risks within assigned business/functions.
- Support design and delivery of training programs to build knowledge and compliance across teams.
