Role Overview:-
- As a Data Analyst in Legal Analytics, you will support various Legal teams, including Litigation, Government Relations, and Criminal & Regulatory Investigations (CRI).
- You’ll run analytical projects, develop dashboards, maintain reporting, and provide actionable insights to drive decisions across eBay’s Legal operations.
Preferred Qualifications:-
- Experience in financial services, internet, consumer goods, or retail sectors.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Experience:-
- 5+ years in Computer Science/Analytics/Consulting; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong SQL skills (Hive/SPARK) and database/data warehousing knowledge.
- Expert in Excel (pivot tables, look-up functions, advanced formulas).
- Tableau dashboard development experience.
- Python programming preferred; Hadoop experience is a plus.
- Ability to analyze large, multifaceted datasets and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Support Legal teams with analytics, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries.
- Extract, validate, and analyze data using SQL from various sources.
- Maintain and update SQL codes per organizational changes.
- Develop and improve Python scripts for data processing and cleaning.
- Build and enhance Tableau dashboards or Excel reports for insights delivery.
- Deliver data-driven insights, recommendations, and metrics to Legal teams.
- Collaborate with global analytics and policy teams to ensure alignment and minimize duplication.
