About the Role:-
- Intel’s Supply Chain Planning IT team is looking for an experienced Data Scientist – Demand & Supply Planning to drive digital transformation across global demand forecasting and supply planning operations.
- This role focuses on applying advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling to optimize enterprise-scale supply chain processes and enable data-driven decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications:-
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related engineering field with 6+ years of experience
- Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience
- PhD with 2+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:-
- Experience with Blue Yonder, SAP, Kinaxis, o9 or similar planning tools
- Semiconductor or high-tech industry background
- Experience with large-scale enterprise data platforms
Required Experience:-
- Demand forecasting, demand planning, sales forecasting, and S&OP
- Statistical forecasting and system-driven disaggregation
- Enterprise planning tools such as SAP IBP/APO, Blue Yonder (JDA), Kinaxis, Anaplan, Demantra, SAP BPC, i2, or equivalent
- Process transformation, business analysis, solution deployment, and change management
Technical Skills:-
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL (Snowflake)
- Hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch
- Expertise in forecasting models, ML algorithms, and optimization techniques
- Experience with Power BI / Tableau for dashboards and insights
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and data pipelines
- Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Rally)
