Job Overview:-
- The Statistical Programmer 1 will provide programming support for clinical research projects by creating, validating, and maintaining programs required for statistical analysis and data reporting.
- The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external clients to deliver high-quality statistical outputs that support clinical drug development.
Required Qualifications:-
- Master’s degree in Computer Science / related field with 2 years PK/PD experience
OR - Bachelor’s degree in Biostatistics / related field with 3 years PK/PD experience
OR - Equivalent education, training, and relevant experience
Technical Skills:-
- Strong knowledge of SAS (Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS Macro Language)
- Understanding of clinical research, statistics, and drug development processes
- Ability to work with statistical analysis datasets
- Excellent problem-solving and mathematical capability
Professional Skills:-
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:-
- Develop, test, and document SAS programs for statistical tables, listings, and summaries
- Create and validate derived datasets and perform data transfers as required
- Conduct database integration from multiple studies or data sources (with supervision)
- Assist in developing specifications and programming documentation
- Contribute technical expertise and support statistical programming activities
- Develop new macros, tools, and programming solutions under supervision
- Support statistical team leads in project execution and coordination
- Track project progress, scope of work, and resource requirements (with guidance)
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with clinical data standards
