Role Overview:-
- Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support Commercial and Finance functions within its growing pharmaceutical CDMO team.
- This role transforms complex datasets into meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Qualifications:-
- B.E / B.Tech – Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Engineering
- B.Sc / BCA – Data Science, Computer Applications
- B.Com / BBA / MBA – Finance, Business Analytics
- M.Sc / MCA – Data Science, Information Technology or related fields
Skills & Competencies:-
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau
- Programming experience in Python or R
- Excellent analytical & visualization skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred)
- Familiarity with data sources like IQVIA (plus)
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:-
Data Insights & Reporting
- Analyze datasets from multiple sources to identify trends in sales, commercial and financial performance
- Build dashboards & visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel
- Support leadership with key metrics and financial forecasting
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with business & technical teams to define data requirements
- Translate analytics into clear business recommendations
- Contribute to analytics strategy & reporting standards
Process Improvement & Automation
- Automate reporting using Python, R, and BI tools
- Improve data governance for accuracy, compliance, and consistency
